Today's world of competition, green energy plays an important role. For zero emission in 2050 is expecting growth in using solar and wind energy. We should have to store this for a short period, which will be the good days of batteries. In 2070 man will construct cities on ocean surfaces.

Energy conception is linked with a countries growth. Government will try to raise GDP in every possible ways to generate and consume maximum energy. Fossil fuels and uranium quantities are small never increase only decreasing

R and D in battery manufacturing is till going on. Some achievements are got.

One Sun and One World

Climate change has been a problem of the present world. Entropy is ever increasing, do it possible to decrease it by changes electricity. Solar energy must be using, which is cheap and richly available. A solar energy power grid is a universal need.

Types of Energy Storages

These can be grouped in to five technology categories.,  Batteries, Thermal, Mechanical, Pumped hydro and hydrogen. There are 12 types of batteries in common use. Metal-air and flow batteries are new additions to the list.

Present Scenario

Energy storage will reach cost parity with conventional technologies and soon its growth will get faster. Global li-ion battery manufacturing in 2010 was 10GWh, this became 500GWh in 2020 and could exceed2000GWhin 2025. Battery storage is essential for solar projects in universal power grid

Engineers and scientists must hard work for cheaper storage of energy for long duration. Several types of batteries are in the market. A new type of battery is under development having infinite number of charges. Energy storage systems play a major role in grid management. Actually it is a power station.

Conclusion

Long duration storage can be able to supply electricity during natural calamities. Engineers and technicians are to be trained for operating virtual power station made by batteries.
